Heart of Ellsworth is focusing our holiday celebration efforts into lighting up downtown Ellsworth thanks to financial support from First National Bank and First National Wealth Management. This year, 36 of Main Street’s iconic lamp posts will twinkle in an environmentally sound way with new commercial-grade, encased LED marine lights, to be powered by the City of Ellsworth.
Downtown Ellsworth’s lamp posts lights will start sparkling on Small Business Saturday, November 28 and be up through the new year!
Why donate to the Heart of Ellsworth?
Heart of Ellsworth remains focused and committed to economic growth through projects in the urban core.
Our vision seeks to fill storefronts on Main Street, secure a location for the Winter Farmers Market, develop the Union River waterfront with green space along the river, and identify and assist in the creation of more downtown housing options. Collectively, these enhance opportunities for both visitors and community members to enjoy all that Ellsworth has to offer.
Your contribution ensures that we can remain committed to these goals. We appreciate your support!
Heart of Ellsworth is a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Heart of Ellsworth Names New Vice President - Jon Stein
We are proud to share that Heart of Ellsworth board member Jon Stein has stepped into a new role as vice president. In Jon's words: "I joined Heart of Ellsworth to help facilitate a conversation between downtown businesses, citizens of Ellsworth, and City Hall so that we can all work together to revitalize Ellsworth and continue to grow it into a cool, bustling downtown full of art, music and community engagement." Jon certainly "walks the talk" with his tireless efforts to make Fogtown Brewing Company a beloved community space, while always volunteering to better our downtown. Congratulations and thank you, Jon!
