Heart of Ellsworth has been selected to host a Main Street Fellow for the 2021-2022 service year. We are one of six communities selected through a competitive process with the Maine Downtown Center. The Ellsworth Fellow will collaborate with the Heart of Ellsworth staff and Design Committee to organize events, fine tune the subject of a 3,000 square foot mural and be part of the mural artist selection process. Time Machine - The Evolving Museum: Ellsworth's Historic Walking Tour Panels
Thursday, July 8: 6-7pm
"The Evolving Museum" features historic photographs, stories of buildings, their locations in Ellsworth as well as how and why they have changed. Learn about the challenges the Museum in the Streets team faced in selecting and designing the panels, the history of the project, and the supplemental information available on the Historical Society's website.

Museum in the Streets Unveiling Party - Ellsworth Historical Society
Wednesday, July 14: 5:00pm
An outdoor celebration of the new historic walking tour panels in Ellsworth known as the "Museum in the Streets." Listen to speaker Todd Little Siebold and participate in the game of the historical fact "So You Think You Know Ellsworth?!"
